The article "Wives Bring Home Bacon" by Emily Ngo is the study that women are becoming the breadwinners. Pew Research Center report shows that more and more women earn more money than their husbands.
According Ngo's article, she says "Women increasingly wear the pants in the family nowadays, outpacing their spouses in both education and salary growth." This phenomena is very interesting. In a traditional society, men usually were breadwinners; and women were housemakers. But in today modern society, more and more men and women exchange their role. I think this cosmic climte matches the Tao School describing "for the yin and the yang are reversed, with the yin in prosperity and the yang in ceclined."
Remark: In Taoism, the yin represents women and the yang represents men.
